The General Manager of El Pozo Alimentación brings his vision of the international agri-food sector

Rafael Fuertes, General Manager of El Pozo Alimentación took part in the 24th Saint Petersburg World Economic Forum alongside major world leaders to offer his vision of the international agri-food sector.

This meeting point was celebrated with the slogan “Together Again. Economy of New Reality” and Qatar was the guest of honour. This Forum has turned into a leading global platform so political representatives and businesses can debate key economic points which could affect Russia, emerging markets and the whole world in general.

This encounter promoted international communications between representatives from business communities in Africa, Germany, Spain, Italy, Qatar, Latin America, North America, Finland, France, Sweden and Japan, plus the Eurasian Economic Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations also took part.

Fuertes focused his contribution on the challenges the agri-food sector faces, whose main difficulty is managing to feed the entire world. Furthermore, he reminded everyone that the holding company which he manages started to be internationalized in Russia when they got Tamboskaia Indeika up and running, the elaborate and commercialized turkey meat producer which was the product of a collaboration with the Russian leader in meat production, the Cherkizovo Group.
