Grupo Fuertes has received the Cegos Award for Best Practices in Human Resources for LAB19, its Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies laboratory that drives innovation and talent within the organisation.

The award was presented in the “Innovation and Technology” category from among more than 120 nominations submitted for the sixteenth edition of these awards, organised by Cegos in collaboration with Equipos & Talento, a leading people management platform.

LAB19, created by Grupo Fuertes, the business holding company that includes El Pozo Alimentación, is an innovative project recognised for its ability to foster the professional development of young talent. This dynamic laboratory promotes learning and enables university students to acquire key skills in innovation, leadership, teamwork and the use of advanced technologies through Artificial Intelligence.

Throughout the year, this Grupo Fuertes initiative organises various innovation programmes and challenges, establishing strategic partnerships with universities, associations for gifted students, and specialised centres.

The jury highlighted LAB19’s human-centred and innovative approach, as well as its contribution to fostering a corporate culture that is open to learning and continuous improvement.
