Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and China, the first destinations of Aquadeus exports

The natural mineral water company Aquadeus has started to sell its products in countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and China, as a starting point for its international strategy over the next few years. The company, part of the Grupo Fuertes, increased its turnover by 9.6 per cent, to 17 million euros in 2015, and invested 500,000 euros in improving its production efficiency, which it will continue working on this year, with a similar investment.

Aquadeus increased its presence in the hostelry channel, which already represents 25 per cent of its sales. As for sparkling mineral water, it underwent an increase above 11 per cent with respect to the previous year. The launch of new products such as the latest incorporation to the Gourmet range of 0.5 litres, reflects its commitment to innovation. The Gourmet family is made up of high end products, characterised by their purity, balanced composition with regards to levels of minerals and trace elements and their novel design. This range is undergoing an extraordinary behaviour commercially in the on-premises channel.

The natural mineral water Aquadeus is one of the four best in the Spanish market, according to the latest report on water carried out by the Consumers and Users Organisation. Its excellent mineral composition makes it ideal to keep properly hydrated, to use in the preparation of children’s food and to be consumed by sportsmen and women.
