Thanks to the good management of the companies he runs

Tomás Fuertes, Chairman of Grupo Fuertes, is one of the Top 100 best CEOs in Spain according to the ranking recently published by the prestigious publication Forbes. The businessman is ranked alongside other important national CEOs such as Juan Roig, María Dolores Dancausa and Miguel Fluxá.

Forbes‘ annual survey of the country’s best CEOs highlights the good management of their companies with the aim of recognising their work. Tomás Fuertes heads one of the most important agro-food business groups in Europe, which employs over 8,000 people directly and generates 50,000 indirect jobs.

This recognition is a reaffirmation of good management in a year which, as the magazine points out, has been difficult for organisations in the food sector, and in which managers have had to face challenges such as uncontrolled inflation and shortages of raw materials.

Grupo Fuertes bases its business philosophy on constant improvement, reinvestment and sustainable development. The holding company comprises a strong agro-food core and a collection of diversified investments which guarantee its solidity and future. In this sense, one of its main objectives is to create shared value for its consumers, clients, employees, suppliers, civil society and investors. Its chairman is leading the implementation of this philosophy in the holding company.
