The Peñín guide 2020 qualifies eight wines from Bodegas Luzón as excellent

They have scored from 90 to 92 points and been awarded 4 or 5 stars for their excellent value for money

Eight wines from Bodegas Luzón have been qualified as excellent  in the latest edition of the Peñin Guide 2020,  one of the most consulted manuals by amateurs and professionals on a worldwide scale.

The guide considers as excellent those wines which score between 90 and 94 points. Alma de Luzón, Por ti and Altos de Luzón, the premium wines of the winery, have been included in this score range.  The same scores have also been achieved by the new wines from the Colección range, Luzón Colección Crianza, Luzón Colección Garnacha Tintorera and Luzón Colección Rosado. In addition, Finca Luzón Crianza and Finca Luzón are also included in this privileged group.

These scores are an accolade to the company’s policy of making high quality wines, beginning with the careful work done in the company’s vineyards which are unique with high enological value and looked after throughout the year to get the best fruit.

The Peñín Guide is one of the most influential publications in the world of wine for professionals as well as amateurs.  It is the most complete Spanish compendium in the world, with an annual tasting of 11,500 wines. This enological encyclopedia, edited in English, German and Spanish, is responsible for presenting Spanish wines with their respective scores internationally.

Therefore, the fact that eight wines from Bodegas Luzón are included among the best in Spain in this year’s edition underpins the effort that the company makes to produce excellent wines which exceed consumer expectations nationally as well as internationally.

Bodegas Luzón is one of the most representative wineries from the Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO) Jumilla, present in more than 30 countries.  Its wines are winning awards in the most important competitions in the world for their quality and innovation.
