Aquadeus turnover grows by 28 per cent in 2016 to 21 million euros

The natural mineral water Aquadeus increases its international presence and is now in China, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Panama

 

The natural mineral water company Aquadeus increased its turnover in 2016  by 28.4 per cent to 21 million euros. This increase is boosted by the significant advance in exports and by innovation in high-end products which the company is making.

In the field of exports, Aquadeus sells its products in countries including China, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Panama and is committed to increasing its international presence over the next few years.  In this sense the company, part of Grupo Fuertes, permanently invests in improving its productive efficiency to reinforce its competitiveness in an increasingly more global market.

Aquadeus increased its presence in the hospitality channel, which now represents 25 per cent of its sales. In addition, sparkling mineral water underwent an increase of more than 11 per cent last year.

Aquadeus water has recently been characterised as the best in Spain, together with three other brands, in a study carried out by the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU), for the quality of its product.

Committed to innovation

Its commitment to innovation is reflected in the launch of new products such as the widening of the Bienestar range, to which they have just incorporated a litre bottle. This range is made up of high-end products characterised by their purity, balanced composition with regards to levels of mineralization and trace elements and their novel pink colour.

In addition, the company has the latest technological advances in its facilities and is immersed in a continuous innovation process which allows it to make totally recyclable plastic bottles with minimum environmental impact. It also helps to improve its natural surroundings with specific actions such as reforestation of natural spaces.

Aquadeus, committed to society

Aquadeus is a company with wide ranging social work and collaborates with different charitable associations and NGOs.  At the moment the company is developing a solidarity campaign for the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (Feder).

This campaign can be added to other collaborations such as the Spanish Transplants Association (AET) or the D’ Genes Association, as well as supporting  sporting events and teams, including UCAM Murcia FC.
