Finca Luzón 2016, selected as the best wine with PDO Jumilla

The products from the Luzón wineries are prize-winners in the most prestigious international competitions for their quality and innovation

Finca Luzón 2016 has just been chosen as the best wine with PDO  Jumilla in the prestigious competition International Wine Challenge 2017, held in  the United Kingdom, coming away with the Gold Medal.

Finca Luzón is one of the most emblematic references of the Luzón winery, and the one which has won the most awards, racking up one hundred or so prizes and recognitions worldwide. It is a young, fruity, fresh, lively wine, which combines the grape varieties Monastrell and Syrah, giving it character and power. On the palate, Finca Luzón 2016 is smooth, full-bodied and balanced.

In this British competition the two other wines presented by the winery also received medals, Luzón Crianza Selección 12 meses 2014 and Luzón Verde Organic 2016.

The wines from the Luzón wineries, found in 30 countries, are receiving awards in the most important competitions in the world for their quality and innovation. Together with the mentioned recognitions, Altos de Luzón 2012 won silver medals in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2017 and in the International Wine Spirit Competition 2017, together with Luzón Crianza Selección 12 meses. Furthermore, Luzón Organic was awarded the gold medal by the public in the Salón International des Vins et Spiritueux in Québec, Canada.

These awards are testament to the effort made by the winery to conquer the taste of the consumers. This company, part of Grupo Fuertes, is one of the largest wine producers with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Jumilla and its products are positioning themselves in the market for their exceptional quality.
